100% correct

I would happily find a cleaning job in walking distance, but that would mean min wage with a mortgage and a divorce to pay for - completely impractical. 2 years ago I found myself applying for jobs, got loads of good interviews and was well qualified for every job. But when you are over 50, you don't get the job - it is as starkly simple as that. I will do what I do for the next 2 years or so, taking ever diminishing returns for work against ever rising prices. Then, with my pensions, I am off to somewhere where I will pay a lot less tax, the weather is better, the people are nicer and there are no local councils checking my wheelie bin... I leave you to guess where that is, but I can assure you that Gordon, Dave and that Liberal bloke will get nowhere near a penny of mine.
