Well, the period between him hitting about 6 v Fakenham, and scoring on his debut v Man City, anyway.

To be honest - taking a holistic view (you cant tell i have been in buzzword meetings today at all...) Clubs at our level are always going to be hit and miss with players, cos that's all we can afford. Earnie was different, a better class (the irony being we couldnt then afford the other players we needed). For every good cheap one, there is a s**t cheap one. Grant v Worthy would both propbably come out at about 50/50 success when we thought about it.

Who would have thought Fozzy would be good? Who would have thought Dave Striker would be so s**t?

Who would ahve thought Dublin would be so good? Who would have thought Thorne would have been so s**t?

And you could go on and on like that as well, I would reckon.
