No, the birdsong serves to remind me that not everything is rubbish and that despite all the evidence I can muster pre 6am, it IS actually worth crawling out of my stinking pit.

Is it just me, then? Birdsong, how can I put this without sounding enormously t**ttish, I dunno, it just makes everything all right.
