2. After leaving the Premiership we also bought Dickson Etuhu, Chris Brown, Luke Chadwick etc etc - money has been made available to subsequent managers. Unfortunately, it's been poorly spent.
3. England goalie? If this were a "proper" game, Lewis wouldn't be anywhere near the first team. It's because it's a friendly that he is and we're now talking about this.
Would you call Robert Green an England goalie? I wouldn't - he's still had substantially more experience than Lewis has.
4. "Despite the Earnshaw and Etuhu transfers". Grant spent that money and was given a fair whack of it. There isn't/wasn't a pot of gold around as a result of these transfers.
5. "The simple truth is both players had to be sold". Err... really? No, in my mind, it is six of one and half a dozen of the other. Both players wanted to return to the Premiership - that much is obvious.
