...wonder if the behaviour of the club drives the fans, or the behaviour of the fans drives the club?

They will be back, unquestionably, and they will win League 1 next season, and yes, they have over reacted and played the "them and us" card rather TOO much.

But with peoples attitudes towards them, sometimes I can understand their paranoia.
