The point really is that Open Source is being sold in it's invunerability. It's not true, it's never been true and never will be true. Software is too complex these days not to be invunerable. The only invunerable software is that which is not attacked.

Given that the average user is a complete security berk, the key points are building software that gets and installs it's own patches, announcing invunerabilities and releasing patches quickly. IMO, Microsoft wins on point 1 and 3 (and the stats back this up). Point 2 is more debatable.
