I witnessed this happening. It happened outside O'Neills pub in Liverpool City centre on the night Liverpool beat Chelsea 1-0 in the CL semi-final. It was after closing time and all the Liverpool fans from the various pubs around the area converged on the streets and road outside O'Neills. The fans were singing songs and basically celebrating. It was hard for traffic to get through, but there wasn't much about as it was about 3.30am. Along comes Joey Barton in his big car, windows tinted. Beeps the horn, rolls down the window to tell people to get out of the way. Guy in front of him doesn't hear him with all the singing, so Joey just revs up, knocks him down and breaks his leg. Yer mans bone was coming out through his leg and he was in agony. Barton is a scumbag masquerading as a footballer. Some day he'll meet his match though, hopefully soon.
