Probably becuase he is England captn (or was, might be) and he is a role model (joke) for loads of kids then many folk get a bit tired of seeing how he behaves on the pitch and off it (parking, thuggery, bottles etc etc).
That is all really. I just dont like the guy and that view is probably shared by quite a few.
