since Huckerby denied that there was a problem between them, something re-iterated by Simon Charlton, and since Roeder denied that there was a problem between them, then Adams launched an unwarranted and unprofessional attack on the manager in the media. So it's ironic that he is blubbing because Roeder gave him some back.

As for a member of the Academy staff losing their job - the only thing that surprises me is that Roeder hasn't sacked every single one of them.
