Health Care, Weather, Cost Of Living

..is cheaper in some parts of Aus (not all parts..Sydney, Melbourne etc v.expensive). If you are older, move to the gold coast, warm all year round. Even Auckland can get a bit frosty in July/Aug time. The South Island has lakes that freeze over, which they play curling and ice hockey on!

NZ is beautiful...great people...lots of space..good place to raise the kids, but there are a few big drawbacks, i.e jobs, quality of health care and education. Infrastructure (Auckland in the morning makes Norwich look like Walberswick in rush hour) Pollution...controls are very weak. It rains acid rain in Manakau, all the older cars in that area have very wierd blotchy paintwork. Deforestation etc.

Not all as green as the adverts suggest although DOC (The department for conservation own huge blocks of land and have very powerful marine conservation controls)
