To be fair I can well imagine the first bit of that happening - "I thought he was with you" "but I thought he was with you"

often have momentary worries about that kind of thing happening to mine

but not to bother going to speak to each other on the plane, so you *still* don't notice infant-lackage - they must have been having a row, surely...
