Great Post. What Concerns Me Is...

...if we struggle next season, Roeder will get a lot of criticism, come under pressure & the refrain will be that if he hadn't let Hucks go, everything, magically, would be OK.

If we do find it hard next season-and some people will expect, maybe demand we are top 4-6 from the off-then it will not be because Hucks has left, but because we have had a poor squad, quality wise, over the past few years and that we will still be playing and building one to improve on those of previous seasons.

We need quality, all too often the club has gone for quantity. When we signed Hucks, it was a sign that we were looking to progress and move on, we then stood still for too long and rested on his laurels. Now we have let him go, perhaps, as it was when he signed, it is an indication that the club wants to move forward again,at long last.
