Dunno. The bloke has had his custody extended to 3 months. To be honest it

sounds a bit like they are teeing up to send him to a psychiatric unit which would see the nutbag back on the streets any time after about 6 months, with probation.

I hope they find him fit to stand trial, but even then the Dutch system is really light on sentencing. A guy I knew who was a coach for another American Football team here in NL murdered his wife by drowning her in a ditch, faking a car accident, after having shagged her and drugged her with tomazipan (sp.?) on their 31st wedding anniversary (also had two young children) and he only got 15 years for that of which he will probably serve 10. Comparing that I can't imagine Marnix will get more than 10 years. Ridiculous.
