He is in charge of footballing decisions. He's the one who has been giving interviews where he has said things of the ilk "Heroes come and go"; and "I've made up my mind weeks ago who will be going" etc. (not direct quotes but close enough). All he had to do was announce Hucks was leaving prior to Sheff Wed game, and most of us would've been able to send him off, and we'll all be happy, minus the few who still value his input above that of Croft and Chadwick (and might have a point but I digress).
