Well in my view it clearly was

Its a side of Roeder that is sadly all too apparent from the way he conducts himslef in public. He said himself he had made his decision long ago. Letting Hucks go for football reasons I can just about live with (although I disagree) but denying him his send-off was spiteful, especially in comparison with how Dion has been treated.

In my view Roeder has harboured a grudge since he was effectively made to put Hucks back in the team earlier in the season and this all stems from his need to play the big man and not play second fiddle to a player.
