Mixed feelings

I have mixed feelings. Would personally have loved him to have one more season but in Glenn i trust at the moment.

It would have been worse if he had carried on next season and played little or no part or at worse began to look out of his depth.

I am sure Huckerby will come out and say he would have accepted less money but even a slight reduction would surely have seen him be one of the hightest wage earners at the club. If Glenn thinks he wont play him every week next season then it would be daft to give that player, any player one of the higher wages.

People are talking about disrepect but for me it would have been more disrepectful to offer Huckerby a token contract on half wages.
