keep it to to a double sided A4. Don't clutter it.

Put your name in a decent sized font, centrally justified at the top. Don't put 'CV' or whatever on it, they know it's a CV

Personal Info: Address, Email (if you have a stupid email, get a new one), Phone numbers

Relevant work experience (most recent first)

Work experience

Education

References

I don't have hobbies/interests/personal mission bloody statement on there, but I know some people like to put that on.

All my sections have a big box around them to separate them out. They aren't cluttered, just relevant bullet points for each job.
