Losing data, not the governments fault, and I'd be saying that regardless of who was in.
A Big problem of any government is that whoever is in control has to put up with the same Civil Service essentially.
AN organisation that, IMHO, is badly in need of a real shake up.

As for the referendum, horrible horrible idea. About 10% of the UK population would vote from a position of knowledge (either way). The vast majority would be voting based on 'non bendy banana's' 'like changing money on holiday' and other less innocent irrelevancies.
Simple fact is not enough people in this country know enough about the EU and proposed changes to be trusted to make an informed decision.
We pay these people very very well to make these decisions and I'd be much happier with any party making them than Sharon from Mile Cross!
