For those of you unable to attend todays Open day Forum...

....the panel was The drummer from local band HUCK (to get more support for the Greatest ever gig thing i guess!), Dion, Doncaster, Mumby, Roeder and Andrew Cullen.

Obviously there were a few of the silly questions/statements from the more remedial andhandicapped people such as why can`t we have a capacity of 35000 plus and do you think we`ll stay up this season!?!?

Anyway of the stuff that you actually might be interested in...

Dions not interested in management or coaching and as of August will be working for Sky Sports doing the same job as Chris Camara and Tony Cottee.

(we knew this anyway but...) Roeder is unwilling to give any clarification on the hucks contract situation and said its not fair to speak about it until him and Darren or any others with contracts running out have actually sat down and discussed it. Mumby made a little "should we sign him" comment which was greeted with cheers but Roeder remained stoney faced.

When quizzed about Youth Roeder basically said that Norwich was a city in the middle of a big field that is norfolk and that the 100 mile radius rule meant it was more difficult to unearth talent than what it is in London etc. He added that if a rival team unearth a gem of a player who hails from within 100 miles of Norwich then his scouts had failed in their duties to the club.

He said that he classed any player 16 and above as a man and that if they were still seen as players with potential when they reached the age of about 21 then actually they`re just kids who aren`t going to cut it at the highest level. Bye Bye the Jarvis's etc then.

finally they all had there say and after Dions thank you's and a little spin from Doncaster, Roeder said to Mumby, You told me in my second interview for the job that if i kept Norwich City up this season then i could spend as much as i want in the summer and i`ll assure the fans nowthat i`m gonna spend every penny i can get out of you.

To which Mumby replied, "if you, ladies and gents, see me and delia starting up a stall on the market, you`ll know he`s won"
