Safe but..

After yesterday's gratifying result, its relief to know that we are safe and can go to Sheff Wed without any pressure.

Roeder and his team have done a remarkable job in keeping us up and deserve a great deal of credit for rescuing us from a seemingly hopeless situation. However, our recent dip in form demonstrates the inadequacies in the squad. Unless there is proper investment in the squad, this season will turn out to be nothing more than a stay of execution. For the most part we had to rely on other teams being worse than us this season. The plight of Leicester, Southampton and Wednesday should be a lesson to the board.

For what its worth, I think it is between Leicester and Saints for the drop.
