Season positives and negatives

The good bits first
GR turned a bunch of habitual losers into something approaching a winning team. Full marks, as in November I remember a poll on here where almost no-one actually believed we would stay up.
Ched was a revelation for much of the season, it would be lovely to keep him but he would be at least as expensive as Crouch and we have less spare cash now, for sure.
Fantastic crowds. And mainly supportive in a desperate season.
Dion - what a pro. I reckon we all know that without his influence we were sunk.
And the negatives.
Those players who failed to stand up and be counted and to fight for the club when they were most needed.
The failure of any academy players to break into even the fringes of the first team (yet again), the system needs a damn good overhaul - or shut it down.
And finally - the scum stayed up despite not turning up for their away fixtures...
