The Cureton dilemma

His finishing has been pretty awful too often of late, but he is teh only striker we have with a decent ability to lose his marker and get in a decent scoring position.
So he looked seemingly incapable of scoring and yet we still looked far more likely to score when he was on the pitch than when he went off (I'll ignore the penalty we got as that was simply clumsy defending and the incident wasn't going to result in us having an attempt at goal without the handball). In fact we effectively created nothing after he went off. So do we have to put up with his ,er, erratic finishing on the basis that he gets in the right places but at least gets it right sometimes?
