A 97-year-old woman today spoke of her disgust at the makers of her £3000 state-of-the-art shopping trolley after she lost £1.73 worth of grapes from its front compartment.
Vera Cock, 93, was walking briskly down Unthank Road, Norwich when the incident happened. One of the trolley's wheels was caught in the lip of a drain and as she tried to manouvre it on to the nearest pavement, it toppled over and the Sainsbury's 'Be Good To Yourself' range white grapes shot down the drain.
Cock, 87, was devestated at the incident. She said: "I am devestated at the incident."
