Hi mate

thinking of getting a pony 3lt cyl.......now doing 35m dives and feel some sort of redundancy is wise, particularly because on saturday did chepstow with a pay-another-dollar-in dive "master" - and he got narcc'ed at 30m and decended to 50m - i thought he was unconcious and had to follow him to 45m (in case I had to do a CBL) before he signalled he was ok - i got him to come upto 35m and we carried on......

he admitted during the debrief he got narcced and got the depth muddled up! what worried me wasnt the depth, but as a gussler would feel safer with some redundancy.......

he has a pony strapped right way up to his 15lt cyl using a quick release bracket - its nice, out of the way and keeps him fairly well balanced -BUT he cant access the cyl if he needs it off or to dunp......

therefore consdiering underslung pony.....

whats your pref and thoughts mate?!
