has anyone else had any problems running FM08 on Vista?

first time i put the disk in it installed and played fine, then i shut down my laptop, went back to it later and there was no evidence of the game even being installed on the laptop and when i put the disk in nothing happened, the laptop buzzed away but didnt seem to read the disk at all, can anyone help? cheers
