He says some daft stuff, so journalists love to quote him, and from that he's got his BBC column, and didn't he have a newspaper column as well, and all the other media gigs that've come his way. No way is he supposed to say "No, sorry, I don't want your money", but it does mean that one tends to hear every "happy as a badger in mating season" quip about A MILLION TIMES, which can get old, quickly.
