It's getting closer ....

Please excuse yet another posting – but it’s the easiest way to cover the subject. I apologise in advance to those that have already donated – but maybe, just maybe you have family and friends who you would be prepared to forward this message onto?

On 17 May 2008, a brave and illustrious band of men, from the Forces2Canaries Supporters Group, will be walking 16 miles to cover all 26 areas as depicted on the Norwich Monopoly Board. They will also be indulging in what all serving and ex-servicemen excel at best, and consuming a half pint of beer (or equivalent) at a hostelry near to each Monopoly Board Area. The sight after 16 miles and 13 pints is worth a donation of a pound in itself (and pictures will be available on completion of the event!)

This is the second year that the Group have embarked on this incredible feet, and last year managed to raise £572 for the Bryan Gunn Leukaemia Appeal. This year, all donated monies will be going to the Help for Heroes Charity and we hope to raise in excess of £1000 for this cause, so please donate anything you can afford to part with to help out the lads returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with some absolutely horrific injuries!
