Bear in mind...

that it's been a year or so since I was there, and things change fast in Berlin. You shouldn't be short of eateries in Mitte though. If you get some cash and fancy something nice to eat, there's a restaurant in the Hackesche Höfe (near the station I mentioned) called Oxymoron (or some such) which was dead good. Hackesche Markt itself has plenty of choice for food.
