He did a TEFL course, but it was all in German - consequently he can now only speak German to women (not only to women but tradesmen as well - like plumbers).

4. Why does he put on a German accent when speaking English?

He wants to be German. Even when he's speaking English! Crazy!

He saw a Zebra that kept saying 'Donner und Blitzen' to him when he was 5. He has been trying to recapture that moment for 17 years.

6. Why the head lice inspections, the forced shaving of body hair and the sinister references to inmates being housed in "facilities"?

To help his self-esteem.
