Ok so going on from the menezes stuff below, what do we think of this?

Over reaction from the police, could they have done it differently?
Paranoia from the public?
Or is it something we'll see more of in the current climate.

Got to feel very sorry for the guy, must be incredibly humilating, but then if he was a terrorist, would giving him time to respond just be giving him time to detonate himself?
