True story, from this season.

Two of my Sheff Utd pals came down for the match at FCR earlier in the season. They didn't travel with us, 'cos they were making a weekend out of it and were in Newmarket on the Friday before.

Anyhoo, they picked up a third Sheff U fan on the way, one who didn't have a ticket, and 'cos of bad traffic from Newmarket, didn't get to the ground until a few minutes before kickoff - as they were hurrying round to the ticket office to see if they could get one for the other lad someone overheard what they were saying, and said "hang on lads, I've got a spare here", pulled out a wad of a dozen or so tickets and handed one over. "Anyone else need one?". They didn't 'cos the other two had bought them in advance ("£22? You robbing set of bastards"), so this chap went and gave tickets to another couple that were heading towards the ticket office.

I was told the name of they feller (they knew who he was), but I didn't recognise it, and haven't remembered it, I think it was someone off the coaching staff, an ex-player or something.

Int that a nice story?
