How come this Sheffield Wednesday Decision is taking so long??

As someone wrote on the Pinkun:

"You know what the football authorities are like, they'll probably wait another couple of weeks and hope Sheff Wed can pull themselves far enough away from the relegation zone so they can deduct the 1 point without it meaning anything down there!"
