years ago when we struggled to fill carrow road,that area of cr was allways empty.ncfc had a scheme going that if you were on the dole at the time you could get into the snakepit for a quid as long as you showed your ub40 card.therefore it was nicknamed the snakepit as it was full of SNAKES.
