The Whole Northern Rock debacle.....

Right what has really pissed me off and just been arguing about this....

Why on earth should te government have bailed out Northern Rock, saving its shareholders a loss of money. Surely when you buy shares then you should be aware that they are a risk????

"Disgruntled investors, who have seen Northern Rock's value slump to less than a tenth of its £5.3 billion peak a year ago, have threatened to sue the Government unless it pays "fair" compensation for their shares."
