Was Leeds vs some German club in the European Cup (1992/3 ish) They lost the first leg 0-3, then won the home leg 4-1, but lost on away goals.
Or it might have been the other way round, can't remember and I'm not going to do a GIYLF.
EUFA awarded Leeds or the other team a 3-0, which meant a tie over two legs at 3-3. An easy way out for EUFA if you ask me.
They had a one-off replay on a neutral ground and Leeds won 2-1 or 2-0. Gordon Strachan scored a cracker and Carl Schutt got the winner.
Anyway after all this ramble I'm still not sure what should happen here, but Sheff Weds should have some sort of penalty. And they need to decide now, and not a la West Ham where they thought they could brush the whole thing under the carpet and the end of the season.
