played well and lost, thank God we didn't play badly!

I remember Terry Venables once describing the playing of good football resulting in no points as being fantasy football. His point of course being it's all about results. I'm fed up with hearingg about how well this went . how well that went bit oh bTW we got zilch! GR thought we deserved something from bramall lane. Did we bollox, if we missed two good chances they missed a hatful. Yes we played quite well but the result was never in doubt. Once again today we conceded at the end of both halves. That happens too often and smacks of a lack of professionalism.
As I don't expect this board to be waving the cheque book this summer I will be seeing what the odds are on us taking the drop next season. may well be worth a few quid. How I wish it was different but this squad is so blatantly not up to the job I think GR will have to perform another minor miracle for us to be anything other than bottom 6 next season.
