i can't see him actually joining Wigan so hopefully Portsmouth will match the offer.

I can't really get my head round the situation. He wants to play in the Premiership? Why's that then? Probably knows he can get more money elsewhere. Its got nowt to do with furthering himself... Is he even a Jamaican international yet? thought he turned down the chance to play for them in order to not miss any of our promotion push year before last? What has changed in his head since then? I really believe his agent has a lot to do with it and perhaps the personal rumours (Mrs McKenzie etc) have some grounding. But by the same token didn't the Waghorn article at the end of last season allude to Worthington NOT dropping Francis in order to keep his BEST MATE McKenzie happy?
