Does anybody know when the 2008/09 season start?

Tried googling it but can't find anything anywhere.

Guessing it'll be Saturday 9th August as Saturday 2nd August is far too early given that there's the European Championships over the summer?

If it is the 9th, then I'm guessing it's safe to say the pre-season tour's likely to be two weeks before that as per usual (26th July)?
