iLiKETRAiNS are brilliant (seen the video for Spencer Perceval?)

and Godspeed! are pretty damn good too. In fact it was your good self who tipped me off about iLiKETRAiNS on these very pages. I did rather get bored by the Seven Mile Journey dirge though. And, yes, The Kissaway Trail are Danish. But Svensk Pop is where it's at in Scandinavia (and Soda Fountain Rag from Norway are pretty good too). Check out Cats On Fire (ethnic Swedes from Finland) and The Mary Onettes and, as has been mentioned on here before, Boat Club.
