Yep.

All this stuff about referees not understanding the game because they've never played at a reasonable level is bollocks.

Terry and Lampard were straight in there complaining to the ref after the challenge. They're top professionals who supposedly know the game, and they were certain that it was a fair challenge (obviously it's all gamesmanship, but still).

A precedent needs to be set in that if you shout and swear at a referee, straight yellow card. The idea of only the captain's being allowed to talk to the referee like they do in rugby seems reasonable, but whether it's enforceable, i don't know.
