if you bought him a pint he'd buy you one back, even when he was About To Happen. Have to admit to avoiding him a couple of times after they supported U2, mind, cos he got a bit repetitive, which is forgivable.

He'd still nod to me, though, for ages. haven't seen him for decades though.
