to be charged with drink driving, and he won't be the last. As for 'a disgrace to Norwich City,' I'm not sure about that. If he was completely pissed, yes - if he'd had two pints and was a fraction over the limit, maybe disgrace is a bit harsh. I agree, on the face of it the evidence at the scene is usually overwhelming. But I have heard of cases where there's been an acquittal because of faulty readings etc.
It's not something to be proud of but I sailed close to the wind with drink driving when I was younger. For that reason, I can't be too hypocritcal about Pattison, althugh if he is guilty, I admit it doesn't look good.
