Shackell has just lost it. It comes to something when Pearce, a youngster on loan is not only shouting but exploding with rage organising our defence at corners. His attitude is f**king commendable, 90 mins played and we're still 2-0 down and he's running like f**k to get the ball for a freekick like we had a chance to get back into the game
Gibbs, this is the first time I've seen this guy, and I told my mate he's had a bad start here, and the fans are on his back, he might not play well. Him and Fotheringham pulled the strings in the first half and both equally were our best players
Gibbs fell away in the second half and was subbed off, but the performance in the first half should silence his critics in the games to come
Probably very unpopular, but Darren Huckerby, it's over guys, he shouldn't start another match. If I had to sum up why we probably were under so much pressure from Geary's great crossing, then I'd say it's because Huckerby was as immobile as I've ever seen him, thus attack after attack came from down that side second half. Sad to see, but sadder looking back and thinking this is the albatross that Roeder has been carrying from the fans when we were winning
That's it really, Cureton impressed with the never give up on anything stints, and Chedders always looks dangerous
Didn't play that badly, didn't play that brilliantly either
