Capital Canaries Quiz – too late it was yesterday

For those of you who went, I’m sure that you enjoyed yourselves. It was an excellent evening, with more tough questions than easy ones. I got the Drazen Muzinic question right which impressed my team mates.

The Offside Bar were excellent hosts and treated us very well.

Plenty of WotBers at the quiz, including guest appearances from Surrey, DangerUXB, Brandonio, SCC28, Nixon, and a few others who probably have too many user names to list here.

The highlight of the evening was a question regarding clubs who have won a league in which they are not in the country of. My team mate suggested Monaco which was one of three correct answers. The answers were read out, the third of which was Rapid Vienna. As the third answer was given, there was a huge shout of “YESSSSS!!”, as a WotBer jumped three feet out of his chair, punched the air, and waited in vain for the congratulations of his team mates. It was a top answer from - Brandonio.

I’ll protect the winners anonymity to spare them the embarrassment, other than to say I would estimate they must have racked up over 1500 City games between them, and their answers reflected this.
