anyway what followed was very very weird

a moment after i'd picked it up, a van with no traffic around beeps as it goes past me. then the pub which is just beyond where i found the money, has a police dog patrol car pull up just in front of me. obviously i think it's some kind of set up and bloke walks out asking if i've found some money. give him the 15 quid and he says he thinks some old guy has dropped it (nobody is on the road) and asks me to hop in tocatch him up. and if it wasn't his then the money was mine. i say i don't care about it and basically walk off. is this not really f**king weird?
