is between the proportion of black footballers and the proportion of black managers. However, what is relevant is the proportions actually applying for jobs. If it is remotely similar to the proportions playing then statistically racist appointment policies look rather likely. But I don't have that info, and I don't know if anyone does. My personal suspicion is that it is probably true, in that a black candidate would have to be of a higher calibre that a white one to get most given jobs.
The non-British aspect is irrelevant since 'British' (despite what the Daily Mail would like people to believe) is not a race.
