we never really got that good

we were getting decent results, which covered it up, but we have never been able to solve the goalscoring problem (even in our long unbeaten run, we only scored more than once 3 times - the defence kept bailing us out when we only scored 1 goal per game, but that couldn't keep going for ever).

The goalscoring problem is because we have no goalscoring midfielders in the whole squad and the main strikers are either old (Dublin), mediocre (Evans) or both (Cureton).

Expect the rest of the season to be a struggle but we should scrape together enough points.
