I'm actually not sure thats true

what people think was a lack of committment in the second half of the season might be partly beacsue he was being forced to play something other than his natural game, which is making forward runs. Once we started playing 2 strikers plus Hucks we started getting overrun in midfield and Francis had to concentrate more on covering for attacking players who can't be arsed to get back and cover. When we played with a proper number of central midfielders (i.e. the first half of the season) and he was free to make those forward runs knowing he'd have cover behind him was when he played his best football (and thus looked more 'committed'). I know it isn't a popular thing to say because he is rigfhtly a hero, but the laziest player in a City shirt last year was Hucks in the 50% plus of every game when the opposition had the ball. I don't like saying it but it is true.
