Barnsley (a) was probably Bertrand's weakest performance

but Gibbs' debut really was poor - tempered of course by the fact that the ball just never got to him. Seeing him on Saturday was definitely like seeing another player - trouble is I can see what Roeder is saying about us not knowing much about football, but we can only judge on the minutes we see a player and not on the performances the rest of the week. It's clear that Gibbs has talent, but it wasn't clear on that first outing and even the most rosy-tinted bespectacled supporter would have struggled to say much different. However all in all I'm happy to be proved wrong!!
