Bates is finished. If we offered anything at all for him, I think Middlesboro would snap our arms off. Pearce is a possible, I think, Evans maybe not (Although West Brom got Miller)

It's a bit like the Lewis situation; if they feel we're offering more money than the risk of the player turning into a world-beater (Or at least a decent-to-good Premier Leauge player), they'll take it.
